Do you have a physical shop?
EscaciMat currently operates mainly as an online shop. We do not have a physical shop open to the public. If you need help before buying, you can contact us and we will advise you.
Can I get advice before buying?
Yes. If you are not sure which chess pieces, boards, clocks, books or chess material to choose, you can write to us. We will help you find the best option depending on the use: school, club, tournament, beginner level, gift or personal use.
Orders
How do I place an order?
Simply add the products to your cart, review the shipping options and complete the payment. Once the order has been confirmed, you will receive an email with your purchase details.
Can I modify an order after placing it?
If the order has not yet been prepared or shipped, we will try to help you modify it. Please email us as soon as possible at tienda@escacimat.com and include your order number.
Can I request an invoice?
Yes. During the checkout process you can enter your billing details. If you need an invoice for a school, chess club, company or organisation, please check that the details are correct before completing the order.
Can I place an order for a school, club or organisation?
Yes. We work with schools, chess clubs, associations, parent associations, sports organisations and tournament organisers. We can help you prepare a selection of material according to your needs.
Shipping
When will I receive my order?
Many products are available with fast shipping. If the order is placed before 4:00 p.m., the product is in stock and does not require personalisation, it can usually be delivered within 24/48 working hours.
In Barcelona city, depending on availability and time, some orders may even be delivered on the same day or the following day.
How can I know the shipping cost?
The shipping cost is calculated during the checkout process, depending on the products added to the cart, their weight, volume and delivery address.
Do you ship throughout Spain?
Yes, we ship chess material throughout Spain. For some products or special orders, delivery times may vary depending on availability, volume or destination.
What happens if a product is not available?
If there is any stock issue, we will contact you to offer a solution: wait for restocking, change the product for an alternative or cancel the order if you prefer.
Returns and warranty
Can I return a product if I am not satisfied?
Yes. You have 30 days to request the return of a product, provided it is in good condition, has not been misused and includes its original packaging when applicable.
How do I request a return?
Email us at tienda@escacimat.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will tell you the steps to follow.
Do electronic products have a warranty?
Yes. Digital clocks, electronic boards and other electronic products include the corresponding legal warranty. If there is any issue, please contact us so we can review the case.
Can I return personalised products?
Personalised or made-to-order products may have special return conditions. If you have any doubts before buying a personalised product, please contact us beforehand.

Do you offer chess material for schools?
Yes. We offer chess boards, pieces, clocks, demonstration boards, books, educational material and packs designed for schools, after-school activities and educational projects.
What chess material is recommended for a school?
For chess lessons in schools, roll-up or folding boards, resistant pieces, simple chess clocks and a demonstration board usually work very well for explaining positions to the group.
Can you prepare a pack for a class?
Yes. We can advise you according to the number of students, age, level and type of activity: beginners, after-school lessons, internal tournament or classroom material.

Do you offer material for chess clubs?
Yes. We offer material for clubs, tournaments and lessons: complete sets of pieces and boards, chess clocks, demonstration boards, scoresheets, competition material and other accessories.
Do you have scoresheets for tournaments?
Yes. We offer chess scoresheets designed for clubs, tournaments and competitions.
Can I request a quote for a chess club?
Yes. If you need to buy several units of pieces, boards, clocks or tournament material, you can request a quote from us.
