This is the second volume of the complete collection of games of Mikhail Tahl, commented by Misha own and compiled by his friend Kirillov for the Russian publishing Retorika, who published this work between 1996 and 2002.
The "Magician of Riga" analyzes his best games of the 1965-1973 period, many of which have not been published previously in Castilian, and reviewed in a careful biography different stages of his career, stopping at the most important moments.
The period 1965-1973 was one of the most productive of Tahl. In 1965 he returned to reach the final of candidates, in this case against a young Boris Spassky, and in 1968 reached the semifinals. Among his best results include the streak of 83 games without defeat between 1972 and 1973 (he won 5 consecutive tournaments in that period, including a Soviet championship).
