Psychomotor skills on the giant chess board

This project arose with the aim of making children the central figures of the game, progressively developing their sensory and motor skills thanks to the active use of their intelligence during game activities.

These very beneficial lessons take place in an exclusive and protected space: the chessboard. These types of skills programs have been shown to be a magical experience for children, a bridge between reality and imagination.

The game activities are carefully structured and allow children's self-esteem to increase while giving them a unique opportunity to build relationships with their peers based on loyalty, responsibility and collaboration. Children learn in a playful way to respect and to control their bodies, to know their expressive possibilities and to establish interpersonal relationships through movement, increasing awareness and perception of their own body.

The quality and awareness of the movements promoted by these exercises have, in fact, a direct and significantly positive impact on all the psychological resources of the child: their ability to communicate, perceive and solve problems, to recognize themselves as an individual, which they provide Essential tools for successful interaction with others.

Games and activities build self-confidence and allow children to test their body's potential and limits through sensory and perceptual experience, the risks of uncontrolled movement, the various sensations created by variations in posture, and pleasure and satisfaction obtained from coordinating your activities with those of others in a friendly and fun way.
