Play and learn chess 1

This is a collection of six books for children of primary school learn to play chess. Play and learn this strategy game introduced in school, and does it through games and exercises related to the other instrumental areas.

Books approved by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Catalan recommended chess federation.

All pages and illustrations are in color, with a visual, engaging and pedagogical design. The contents and exercises are presented in accordance with the standards of textbooks parameters of the primary stage.

In this book:

     Teaches the basic elements of the board, the movement of each piece and how the pieces of the opponent are captured. And the last unit helps distinguish when the king is in check, checkmate or drowned.
     The difficulty level of the exercises is a play.
     We recommend using this book in the first grade.
