In this instructive and entertaining book for players of all ages, the legendary David Bronstein, artist and magician Board invites the reader to become his apprentice. Bronstein begins with forty recommendations for beginner chess and then develops the reader capabilities using examples from his own games, 222 total disputed between 1938 and 1995.

Although this book is written primarily for non-professionals, with easy to understand comments, even the most experienced players-masters-will also enjoy the many interesting stories and the way he handles his wand. It is, therefore, an unconventional, very different from any other that has been published so far in the world of chess book.

The best way to read this book is with the board to go ahead following the events.

You can consider three stages:

First, play the entire game without stopping more than two or three seconds on every play. Just dial close to pen and keep playing the game until the end. Then, after relaxing, try to understand the reasons that led him to a decision.

The second, play the game again, slow down and write down what you did not notice last time.

The third, go directly to those brands that has done in pencil and give free rein to your imagination and creative energy.
