This is the first installment of a series of exercises. In this volume, dedicated to the game, the author has selected 496 positions that come from recent real games and has separated the examples into 11 different categories, covering tactics and strategy as well as attack and defense. Romain Edouard brings very innovative approaches to the problem-solving exercise: "Punish bad coordination in the opponent's pieces"; "Make the correct move under pressure" or "Find the lost opportunity", referring in the latter case to the play that was not seen in the game.
This material, entertaining and of great formative potential, offers the reader different tools to improve the chess thinking from several angles, as it happens in the games. It is a fantastic tool to improve your chess level!
