Why write a book more in the era in which the image triumphs over the letter?

The mysteries of learning and its mechanisms are many. Learning is something more complex than filling your head with data and this book would like to inquire in that direction.

Reading one chisels an inner world of its own that images cost so much because of their transience. Our children today may need this paradigm.

Throughout this book, the author pretends that the reader does not stop asking questions and that this is a stimulus for his learning and creativity. This book is also intended to be a well-structured book.

Who is this book for?

-Especially to those who are dedicated to the teaching of chess, especially to children. It is the legacy of the author's experiences for more than 25 years. Here you will find his reflections on the difficult art of teaching chess.

-To those parents, grandparents or friends who feel the need to present the game king to their loved ones, especially their little ones. While they are students, they also become teachers. Learn while teaching, teaching while learning. Learn by sharing.

-To those who still do not know how to play and those who even knowing the rules still have many doubts. In this book you will get information to perfect your skills with numerous examples and exercises.

- And, of course, also fit those lovers of the history of chess.

How is the book structured?

Dr Emmanuel Lasker, a great mathematician, philosopher and champion of the world of chess, said: "You will not learn any art if you are restricted only to it; They have to look for associations, their connections, also their logical relations and their analogies with the rest of things "

These words seem to be written for this book.

The 33 chapters of this work are structured in 6 different blocks. Each of them focuses on the chess theme from a different perspective. Each chapter begins with a more or less philosophical reflection. Then block the story of Martin and his father. Martin is a child who attends extracurricular chess classes at his school. In the afternoon, when returning home, he reviews with his father and in front of the board, what he learned in those classes.

Then we find the theoretical part that is dealt exclusively with questions. After the theory the exercises. This book contains about 700 exercises that can be used in different ways depending on who is focused on learning. The last block consists of photos with mystery, a more abstract and creative way to focus learning that seeks the analogy of the photo with a chess theme and the history of chess. In the final part of the book, they are sure to discover very interesting and useful surprises, especially for teachers of chess.
